TRICON’s Senior Geophysicists are experts in Refraction Statics analysis and application. We have four options available: Paradigm’s: FOCUS, Hampson-Russell’s: GLI, Fusion Petroleum Technologies’: Renegade and Canonical Geosciences’: Flatirons. Single-layer and multi-layer refractor models are common in the areas we typically work. We will experiment with various solutions and use the best algorithm for this particular data set. In Many instances we use two programs, one to pick the data (that yields the best results) and a second program that yields the best refraction solution (usually layer dependent if over 2).
